After the introduction of the electronic invoicing system called for by state legislation, the customer needed to implement a new Sap functionality that would manage the new electronic flow.
In addition, there was a need to equip the company with new and innovative tools for data analysis and for the maintenance of its SAP ERP application.
Transformation obtained
The service offered by ASC met the customer’s needs with the implementation of the new SAP functionality to manage the Electronic Invoicing process (active and passive cycle). Subsequently, to ensure proper management of the SAP system, a SAP landscape application maintenance provider was created, able to provide all the necessary assistance.
At the same time, the intervention of ASC optimized the business analysis processes, and in the Finance and Logistics area, creating an easy and intuitive data view for use by Managers.
Work Process
The implementation of the Electronic Invoicing tool was created from scratch, in ABAP language, FULLY SAP INTEGRATED. Thanks to the technology used, it has been possible to harmonize the document flow, originating on SAP and destined for the Italian Public Institution’s EXCHANGE SYSTEM.
In parallel, ASC’s response provided an application maintenance assistance service, capable of supporting any anomalies or requests from users.
For the realization of the integrated SAP system with the Business Intelligence tool, Microsoft Power BI, a custom ABAP object was prepared in order to extract the internal data of the SAP tables, and then transfer them to a shared share where a second script performs the pushing on Microsoft PowerBI.
In this way, processes in the Finance and Logistics area have been optimized through a SAP interface with the Microsoft application, which provides a business analysis service through simple and intuitive interactive visualizations of data and Business Intelligence.
